The 5 caravan and motorhome pitches are arranged like spokes so that each has uninterrupted views north wards over the Derbyshire Dales. There is plenty of room next to each pitch for sitting out at the side or front. BBQs and fire pits are great as long as raised off the ground and unless the grass is tinder dry in Summer.
No loud music is permitted to maintain the peace and tranquility.
Please note that when you book a pitch, A~E, you are not booking any particular pitch. Pitches are allocated before arrival. If you have any request, please include on your booking form under 'Special requirements'. Whilst we will do our best, we cannot guarantee a particular pitch.
There are 3 electric hook up tent pitches further down the field and 3 non ehu pitches.
Sorry, no tents or awnings in Winter ~ we welcome visitors in vans and motorhomes all the year around.
Within the portacabin are two toilets and a shower for use by pitch guests.
A washing up sink with hot water is situated by the pitches.

Prices for 2 adults
The pitch prices shown are for a non-electric hook up pitch. Each van and tent pitch has an electric hook up and can be selected on the booking form (don't worry if you miss this out - you can tell us when you come; it won't be a problem.) Electricity is metered and charged at tariff price (currently 24p per kWh). Use as little or as much as you need. We will show you how to read the meter so you can check your usage.
Over the winter, usage varied from just 3 or 4 kWh per day to 30 kWh, depending on weather, size of van, use of heating etc. This has added between £1 and £10 to the pitch price, with the average being three to five pounds. In Summer, it is anything from a few pence to a few pounds. We feel charging separately for electricity enables us to keep the fees competitive and is fairer.
